Monster Yamaha MotoGP star Bradley Smith escaped serious injury in a crash during free practice for the Oschersleben Eght-Hour World Endurance race in Germany earlier today.

The British rider has been drafted in to help YART secure the world championship over the weekend but slipped off in the first session and early but erroneous reports stated he had broken his femur but it turned out not to be the case.

Smith Tweeted: “No broken bones on the X-ray. Just gotta stitch up my leg and then assess any further injuries.”
