Appleyard Macadam Yamaha’s Keith Farmer took his first Dickies British Supersport pole position of the year after narrowly missing out on top spot at rounds one and two.
Farmer held top spot for the duration of the session, following on from heading free practice one and two yesterday.
Halsall Yamaha’s Joe Francis jumped up to within 0.147 of a second with his last lap to take second place on the grid. The Cheshire man will be joined on the front row by Gearlink Kawasaki’s Andrew Irwin.
EHA Yamaha’s David Allingham fronts row two, with championship leader Tarran Mackenzie behind him in fifth, making it difficult for him to carry on his 100% win record.
GAC Logistics MV Agusta’s Jack Kennedy rounds out row two, 0.539 of a second adrift of the pole position man Farmer.
Gearlink Kawasaki’s Ben Currie starts an international row three, with the German born Aussie joined by Englishman Ross Twyman and South African Bjorn Estment.
