Redline KTM on the hunt for Motostar rider

Redline KTM are on the hunt for a rider to join its Motul British Motostar effort after 2014 man Joe Irving elected to pursue other opportunities with new goals in mind.

The Loughborough-based KTM dealer team won the most races in the 2014 season with its RC250R machine ridden Irving missing out on the championship by only three points after notching up seven wins and two further podiums during the twelve round season.

“Redline has battled for the Motostar championship in its first two seasons with both Tarran Mackenzie and then Joe Irving. We’ve had a great year with Joe but unfortunately he has some new goals for 2015 and, although we wish him the best of luck, we’re in a position to offer a talented rider an opportunity to race a bike more than capable of winning the championship,” said team boss Tim Walker.

“We know the KTM RC250R inside and suffered no mechanical issues during any of the Motostar races. The bike is offered at the highest specification available with only a Factory GP version being better.”
