Regular podiums the target for Honda’s O’Halloran

Honda Racing’s Jason O’Halloran took his first ME British Superbike podium in the first race at Snetterton and quickly doubled up in the second, and now the Aussie says it is time to get on the box regularly.

O’Halloran has been part of the Fireblade development team since the start of last year but and has slowly been building his speed as team-mate Dan Linfoot recovered from a broken wrist but he was right in the mix in Norfolk and wants more of the same this weekend at Knockhill.

"Knockhill in the past has been a tough track for me with injuries, but last year in the Superstock class I had a bit of a breakthrough and was on the podium and then had a test on the Superbike there the day after, so I have done some laps there already and feel positive about keeping up the good momentum there,” said O’Halloran.

"I think my target now has to be podiums in every race or at the very least as close to that as possible, but I feel that we can keep improving and getting stronger. I am confident that we can have two good races at Knockhill and keep our position in the top six."
