Irish youngster Andy Reid will step up into the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship next season after signing to ride for Keith Flint’s Team Traction Control alongside James Rispoli.

Reid, who narrowly missed out on the Pirelli National Superstock 600 title this season, remains part of Shaun Muir’s stable of riders and was regularly on the Superstock podium, notching up five wins throughout the season, and taking the championship challenge right to the wire in the final race at Brands Hatch.

“The winter prep work is already underway and the team have been great. Going into our second season we’re already months ahead of where the team would have been at this time last year so I can’t wait to be lining up with James on the start-line at Donington,” said Reid.
