Reigning British Motostar Champion Ed Rendell will remain with the Banks Racing outfit for 2015 but move on to the Moto3 machine recently vacated by Joe Francis.

However, it is not all roses for Rendell has the budget for the four-stroke is twice that of the wing-ding so he is still looking for sponsors in 2015.

“Renewing my contract with Banks Racing was a no-brainer. The team provide consistent machinery, which significantly helped me win the overall championship this year,” he said.

“Despite having a passion for two-strokes, I am really looking forward to riding the four-stroke Moto3. My aim for next year is to once again evidence consistency, hopefully opening up opportunities in bigger classes.”
