Established Motul British Motostar squad Repli-Cast will run a satellite team in this year’s championship with Spaniard Dani Saez in one of the Honda Moto3 four-stroke bikes.

The new satellite team will be known as Team Repli-Cast Armstrong and overseen by Gary Dawson but managed by Graham Armstrong running alongside the existing squad which comprises Charlie Nesbitt and Joe Thompson.

Saez will make his Moto3 British Championship debut at Donington Park in April, fresh from a 2014 FIM CEV Championship campaign where he was a front runner with the Salud En Casa Sport Saez Team and TMR Mahindra.

“I’ve been thinking for some time about becoming more involved with Moto3 and, given it is many years since I was last in a motorcycle paddock, sought Gary’s advice about what’s changed and how best to do this,” said Armstrong.

“He was hugely supportive and the more we talked about my embryonic team the more it became apparent that we shared the same values and ambition. I suppose it was therefore a small step to collaborate more fully and believe there is real synergy here.

“In Dani, Charlie and Joe we have riders with real potential and we continue to look for another British rider we can help and support too. We are all really looking forward to the 2015 season.”
