Mission Racing’s Chrissy Rouse has regained the points that he initially lost during the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 race at Cadwell Park.

In the main event he initially came second, with Morello Racing’s Danny Buchan clinching the eventual victory. But after the race he was disqualified on a technical infringement.

There was an appeal today at Silverstone and Rouse and his team won and had his points deduction overturned. He is now aiming for third in the overall championship standings.

On social media Rouse said: “Absolutely buzzing to have won the appeal today and have my points reinstated from Cadwell Park and clear my name. Chase for third is back on.”
