Rising British star Kyle Ryde has been left without a seat for the remainder of 2016 as his Team Ranieri Med - SC World Supersport squad have withdrawn from the championship with no notice.

Ryde is now searching for a replacement seat in the series but it could be hard to come by at this stage of the game.

“This devastating news has come completely out of the blue with no prior discussion or warning. Team Ranieri Med have rightly released Kyle from his contract to allow him to pursue other opportunities. We cannot comment further at this point but a statement will be released in due course outlining Kyles current situation,” said Ryde’s father Sean in a statement.
