Team boss Hill still ‘putting the jigsaw together’

Be Wiser Kawasaki team boss Tommy Hill believes he now has all the pieces of his British Superbike jigsaw together but it is a question of putting them all in the right place to get Chris Walker and Danny Buchan consistently running at the front.

Buchan again struggled this weekend with only one point-scoring finish while Walker grabbed sixth in race one and then uncharacteristically crashed out of a potential podium spot in the second Snetterton outing.

"This weekend has been difficult but we have managed to take out of it plenty of positives, it was also full of mixed emotions.
We are certainly moving in the direction we need to be going and we always knew this year would be tough not having data at any circuits that we go to and it is just a case now of placing all the pieces in the jigsaw together,” said Hill.

“We have all the rights pieces now, it is just a case of putting them altogether and we will be able to run at the sharp end and that is where we want to be. Chris proved this weekend we have the pace to run with the front runners and he rode and incredible first race to come from 22nd on the grid to sixth.

“Despite some problems this weekend we have taken a lot from it and know where we need to go to make things better. I'm sure now we are in a good place and hope the results will show that at the remaining rounds of the championship."
