Thruxton BSB: Championship leader Nesbitt victorious in Motostar race

Redline KTM’s Charlie Nesbitt now has a massive 91 point advantage in the Hel Performance British Motostar championship after doing the double at Thruxton this weekend.

The youngster was on form once again during the Motostar race and crossed the finishing line in first place, ahead of JPL Racing’s Josh Owens, who has recovered from a broken collarbone to step on to the second spot of the podium at the Hampshire track.

Spanish racer, Dani Saez made up the final rostrum place with third this afternoon. Banks Racing’s Edward Rendell was in contention for a top three place but he was out-paced by Saez and had to settle for fourth, with North West Racing’s Richard Kerr completing the top five.
