Kiddimoto Ben Spies 'Elbowz' replica14/03/2012
Ben Spies has been rapidly elevated into legend status in the world of motorcycle racing. The 27 year old Texan scored a hat-trick of AMA Superbike crowns (2006-2008), before moving on to the world stage and securing Yamaha’s first-ever World Superbike title at his first attempt in 2009. Spies is now competing in the highest echelons of racing as part of the factory Yamaha MotoGP squad and is destined for further glory.
As with many racers, he has a real passion for cycling, and here Ben is no slouch either, regularly competing at local events back in the US. His love for cycling led Ben to establish his own cycling team - Elbows Racing Elite, that supports local children’s charities through outreach programs, awareness and generous donations. Kiddimoto has rewarded his outstanding efforts with a new officially endorsed range that includes; KM Helmet, Kurve Icon and Kiddimoto Hero replica balance bikes based upon the Elbowz Elite Racing livery, that bear Ben’s racing number 11, the team’s logo and his signature on the side.
The perfectly formed and simply designed balance bikes are aimed at 3-6 year old children, and provide the perfect vehicle for learning the art of balance and co-ordination at an early stage. Without pedals or breaks, Kurve and Kiddimoto balance bikes allow children to propel themselves, gaining important motor skills that will see them riding a bicycle at a much earlier age.
Kurve boasts a three-point adjustable seat height, child-safe paints and real pneumatic tyres, is made of Birch plywood and will outlast the rough and tumble of early years play.
The Kiddimoto Elbowz Superbike is based upon the silhouette of a racing motorcycle complete with underseat pipes, real tyres and a sleek sporty design. The Kiddimoto is draped in the stunning Elbowz livery, and flaunts Ben's signature on the tank.
To perfectly complement the balance bikes, Kiddimoto unleahes the matching Ben Spies Elbowz helmet. Based on a BMX-style shell it has an 11-point ventilation system, rear wheel adjustment, three shell sizes, adjustable strap, and meets CE bicycle helmet standards. Kiddimoto brings safety and style together in one desirable package.
