2018 Suzuka Eight-Hours: Kawasaki fastest in final test

Kawasaki’s factory Suzuka Eight-Hours team ended the final pre-race test on top of the timesheets with a half-second advantage over reigning champions Yamaha.

Leon Haslam stuck in a 2’07.227 in the third session today - three-tenths off his ideal of 2;06.944 - to claim top spot while the Yamaha squad ended on a 2’07.716.

Former winners MuSHASHI Honda claimed third place in the session with a 2’08.379 but were beaten in practice two by the factory Honda team which now stars PJ Jacobsen instead of the injured Leon Camier.

Bradley Ray and the Yoshimura Suzuka team are fifth with the Honda Suzuka team in sixth. YART are seventh with the Dream Honda team eighth.

Tommy Bridewell’s S-Pulse Suzuki team are tenth behind the FCC TSR Honda squad overall.
