Appleyard Yamaha look forward to 2021 British Supersport season

After logging up an unprecedented fourth consecutive British Supersport title, the legendary Colin Appleyard Yamaha race team are looking for a new title sponsor as long-time supporters Tysers (previously Integro) change their support.

The Official Yamaha UK British Supersport team, who also smashed through the 50 victory barrier, are run out of the Colin Appleyard Motorcycle and Car group, comprising six dealerships.

Renowned for their on and off-track professionalism, the team have had an enviable success, and reliability, rate on their immaculately prepared Yamaha YZF-R6 machines.

Tysers/Integro have been title sponsors of the Appleyard squad for seven years and have been an important part of the team’s partnership portfolio as they made headlines, dominating the British Supersport scene in print, TV and social media.

Always looking to develop young talent the team, have brought riders through their ranks to compete in the Superbike class of ‘BSB’ and have wildcarded at the World Superbike Championship to showcase themselves further.

Team Owner Robin Appleyard said: “2020 has been a historic year for us as we sealed another 1-2 in the British Championship for tile number four and took 50 wins, all with a difficult backdrop but the team stayed focused.

We’ve had great support from Tysers over the years and appreciate all of our supporters but we have the potential to really give a brand a great return on investment through the team and wider commercial opportunities.”
