MotoGP concession teams Aprila and KTM have received some help from technical chiefs and won't have to submit their final engine samples until the end of next month.
Previous, the two firms were subject to the same rules as the non-concession teams but after a successful appeal, they now have extra time to make final preparations.
The series commissioners also made other changes which mean that in 2020, concessions can only be lost and not gained so a team that is failing will not be granted concessions in the usual way. All concession points granted in 2020 will have two years' validity.
