Archer joins Synergy Racing for GP2 assault

Synergy Racing have signed Jake Archer for 2022 to contest the British GP2 series on FTR machinery.

Archer has had a successful racing journey up to now, having won the British Motostar Championship in 2018 and coming runner up twice before that.

Archer then moved up to the British Supersport GP2 class where he has featured in the top 10 for the past three years. Now he seeks success to the highest degree with Synergy’s backing, he looks to be a strong contender for that all important top spot.

“I’m very excited to be joining the Synergy racing team on the FTR GP-2. I’ve had a tough three years so I’m really excited for this new challenge and hopefully be back up the front battling for the championship where we know we should be. I am very thankful to Graham for giving me this opportunity and having faith in me,” said Archer.

This will be the Tewkesbury-based team’s third season in the British Superbike paddock however, running the GP2 machine will see Synergy debut in British Supersport.
