Australian Superbike action is returning to Sydney Motorsport Park in 2023 for the series first ever battle under floodlights.

With the 3.93km NSW Grand Prix circuit missing from the mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship since 2019, Eastern Creek will host 2023’s pre-season testing on Feb 1-2 before a return in March for the second round, culminating in night races on March 25th.

“We are thrilled to be able to host a round of the Australian Superbike Championships at Sydney Motorsport Park in 2023,” Glenn Matthews, CEO, Australian Racing Drivers Club (ARDC), the circuit operators of SMSP confirmed.

“Since their last visit in 2019, over $25M in venue enhancements have occurred and we can’t wait to see the riders battle it out at night under lights for the very first time.”
