Bardahl renews partnership with Mooney VR46

Mooney VR46 Racing Team has confirmed a three-year deal with Bardahl, as the lubricants brand continues as sponsor in both MotoGP and Moto2.

Bardahl, Italian manufacturer and worldwide distributor of lubricants and additives, began its partnership with VR46 in 2020 as part of its Moto2 outfit before expanding the agreement into the Italian CIV Championship with a goal to nurture the talent of young Italian riders. The Bardahl VR46 Riders Academy Team won the national title in its rookie season with Elia Bartolini. The 18-year-old also featured in six replacement rides in Moto3 last year, securing him a full-time ride in the World Championship paddock from 2022 with the Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 squad.

The new season, which commences on March 6th at Qatar’s inaugural race, sees Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi form the Mooney VR46 Racing Team in the premier class riding the Ducati Desmosedici GP bikes, while Celestino Vietti and Niccolò Antonelli pair up in Moto2. The Bardahl logo will be present across all four bikes, riders leathers, garage and truck liveries for the three-year deal.
