Monster Attack Yamaha's Cameron Beaubier cruised to the MotoAmerica Superbike double win at Road America today.
The multiple champion was able to last consistently in the 2'11s - a second fast than the pack for most of the race - to cross the line with a 12s lead. Beaunier's second lap - a 2'11-flat - was a new and outright lap record at the track and faster than his pole time.
Team-mate Jake Gagne took second after a clash between Bobby Fong and Matthew Scholtz removed them both from contention and handed Josh Herrin the chance for a podium.
