Gearlink Kawasaki will field a temporary change of rider line up for Donington Park as WorldSSP’s Tom Booth-Amos subs for Luke Stapleford.
Prior to signing for Gearlink at the start of the season, Stapleford had made a prior commitment to run the London Marathon this weekend, in aid of the charity Cardiomyopathy (https://www.cardiomyopathy.org), following the sudden loss of his Father after suffering from a heart condition.
Having spent 2022 competing for Prodina Racing Kawasaki in the FIM Supersport World Championship, with a highest placing of 13th, Booth-Amos returns to action on home soil for round 11 of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
“I'm pleased to have Tom on our bike this weekend,” Team Manager Ben Wilson confirmed. “He's already been to Donington this year so I feel he has the potential to be strong on the Gearlink Kawasaki and it will be interesting to see how the weekend unfolds."
