Brands BSB Final: Greasy track halts second practice action

Drizzle and a greasy track put paid to any meaningful second free practice action at the Brands Hatch British Superbike round with only a handful of riders braving the conditions.

Tommy Bridewell, Glenn Irwin, Leon Haslam, Christian Iddon and Kyle Ryde were the only front runners to put in any track time but then the rain got heavier so it was back to the garages.

“The risk/reward ratio was not great,” said Bridewell after a lap.
