Brands BSB finale: Team-mates Archer and Scott split Motostar wins

Jake Archer and Jack Scott shared the Hel Performance British Motostar wins this weekend in both wet and dry conditions.

The duo gave their City Lifting/RS Racing Team a one-two finish in the championship as Scott clinched the runner-up spot after Archer had won the title last month at Oulton Park.

While Asher Durham grabbed the early lead in race one, Scott was quick to get ahead of him as he took top the front on lap two as he, Durham and Ed Rendell began to stretch a gap over the chasing pack.

But Durham fell on lap eight and paved the way for Archer to slot through into podium contention, slipping ahead of Rendell on lap eight to take second from Banks Racing man Rendell as Scott took a comfortable 3.4s win.

In the wet second race today, Archer immediately nabbed the holeshot and stormed to a commanding 2.5s lead on the very first lap ahead of Scott and Dan Jones.

But no one could stop the 2018 king as he put his head down and extended a nearly 12-second gap over his team-mate Scott, who took a lone runner-up finish while Storm Stacey confirmed his third place in the championship for FPW Racing with the final rostrum spot.
