Be Wiser Ducati’s Josh Brookes says the most noticeable thing about the Panigale V4 was the amount of available power.
Speaking after his first day on the bike at Jerez, the Australian said he didn’t do much in the way of setup changes but laptimes were still strong.
“First impressions of the bike are really good. Power is the most noticeable strength of the bike straightaway, it’s really, reallyl strong,” said Brookes.
“Obviously, we have all the electronics turned off so there has been plenty of wheelspin, the track was damp this morning. Laptimes are strong, we have made a few changes on the bike but not in too much depth as I needed to get used to it and get the feel.
“A few compression and spring adjustments and we found a nice feeling, so it was a really positive day.”
