Ben Luxton clinched the Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship in the ideal manner at Brands Hatch at the weekend, winning the first of the two races to follow in the foosteps of previous winners including Lee Johnston, Mason Law and current British Superbike stars Lee Jackson, Kyle Ryde and Ryan Vickers.

12th in 2018 and fifth in 2019, Luxton continued his upward trajectory this year on his JR Performance Racing Kawasaki, signalling his intentions right from the word go as he won the opening two races of the season at Donington Park and Snetterton.

He never relinquished his lead despite the hectic races and considerable pressure he was under from the rest of the field including Donegal brothers Caolan and Rhys Irwin and Zak Corderoy.

Luxton racked up two more wins at Oulton Park and was far and away the most consistent rider of the season, scoring points in every race and never finishing lower than fifth, eventually ending the season a convincing 44 points clear of Rhys Irwin.
