Cadwell BSB: Linfoot returns after two year absence

Santander TAG's Dan Linfoot will race at Cadwell Park for the first time in two years after missing the event in 2017 and 2018 through injury.

The Yorkshireman will get in some extra laps tomorrow during the official test and is hoping to claw back some of the 66 points he needs to claim a Showdown spot.

“I haven’t actually ridden there for two years, in 2017 I broke my hand in race one after crashing at turn one and last year I had a broken wrist but I do like Cadwell, I just don’t seem to have had good results there, which is something that I am trying to improve upon," said Linfoot.

“I’m looking to getting stuck in, seeing how the private test and practice goes and I’m looking to have some strong races.

“For sure the private test is good, on one hand it’s good to get some time because Cadwell is such a tough track to get up to speed on and dialled in on with the bike, so that is helpful. But our aim is to plan our strategy to get the most out of the bike in the races, so on that point of view it’s definitely good to have time before.”
