Former Pirelli National Superstock 1000 title challenger Joe Collier has split with the Jones Dorling team after just two rounds of the 2020 series.
Due to irreconcilable differences with the squad, Collier has decided to step back from his role with immediate effect. The former Supersport Evo and Ducati Cup British champion currently holds sixth place in the Stock 1000cc championship table, but will consider all options, on competitive machinery if they become available.
“It’s disappointing that it’s come to this. Unfortunately, there is just no way of resolving the situation, so I’ve made the decision to say, ‘thank you’ to the team and move on,” said Collier who finished third in the National 1000cc Superstock Championship in 2018.
