Simon Crafar is selling the leathers from his final 500GP race in a bid to raise money for charity.

The former Grand Prix and World Superbike racer, who now spends his time keeping a careful eye on the MotoGP paddock as part of the Dorna commentary team, called time on his GP career in 1999 but is turning back the clock thanks to his love of dogs.

“If you know me, you'll know I love dogs,” Crafar announced on social media. “I'm selling my race suits to support the wonderful people who care for dogs in need (funds from different suits to go to different dog charities). This was my last Red Bull Yamaha 500GP suit, hence the perfect condition. Best offer wins!”
