Ballymoney’s Michael Dunlop has arrived in the Armoy Race of Legends paddock today armed with Superbike and Supersport machinery, and a pair of crutches.
The Irishman cracked his pelvis at the Southern 100 a couple of weeks ago and his participation in the Ulster GP was called into question.
However, Dunlop isn’t one to shy away from discomfort and is gunning to retain his Race of Legends title.
Bill Kennedy MBE Clerk of the Course, said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Michael will by racing this year and vying for the sought-after title of Bayview Hotel Race of Legends. Michael has remained faithful to this Club and never lets us down. The Club and I would like to wish him every success over the weekend.”
