Davies and Laverty on verge of 2021 WorldSBK deals...

Both Chaz Davies and Eugene Laverty are on the verge of signing deals that will keep them on the WorldSBK grid for the 2021 season.

It is thought that Davies will stay in the Ducati fold and switch to the Go Eleven team - a straight swap for Michael Rinaldi - while Laverty is strongly linked with a new satellite BMW team.

The BMW operation is being run by former MV Agusta Corse Reparto chief Andrea Quadranti and is one of two possible outfits, the other one for Jonas Folger under the Team Benovo Action by MGM Racing banner.

This leaves a couple of seats and riders without match for next season, the most important of which is Loris Baz. Ten Kate have still not announced whether they plan to stay in the big class for next year as a title sponsor seems not to be forthcoming, so a move back into WorldSSP could be imminent.

Which does Baz out in the Yamaha cold but there is a spot at Barni Ducati available.
