The Irishman has, despite some big injuries, has proven almost invincible this season, wrapping up the crown with three races in hand and some proper showing off into the Melbourne Loop.
Kennedy crossed the line with a 2.9s advantage in the sprint race over team-mate Brad Jones with Gearlink Kawasaki’s James Westmoreland in third place.
With the absense of injured Alastair Seeley, Jones also secured second in the title chase, so it’s a double celebration for the up that north-based team.
Mason Law took fourth overall and was first GP2 rider home with Harry Truelove in fifth.
