Donington BSB: Kennedy cruises to Supersport pole

Reigning and soon-to-be freshly-crowned Dickies British Supersport Champion Jack Kennedy cruised to another class pole position at Donington Park this morning.

The Integro Yamaha man was pretty-much unchallenged in qualifying, setting a 1'31.179 for top spot, some seven-tenths faster than Scotland's Rory Skinner who bagged second with a 1'31.865.

Kennedy's team-mate Brad Jones took third, finishing a tenth behind Skinner while Mason Law was the fastest of the GP2 runners despite a late crash at Craner Curves.

Kyle Ryde, the 2019 GP2 champion, was fifth and 0.855s off the pace but is splitting his time between this class and Superstock 1000 this weekend.

James Westmoreland put in a late lap on the Gearlink Kawasaki to take sixth with Tom Oliver, Brad Perie, Kurt Wigley and Richard Kerr completing the top ten.
