Donington Park’s Melbourne Loop entrance is undergoing extensive re-modelling in time for the 2019 season.
The new entry point will be much enhanced with block paving, grass landscaping, trees, shrubs and wooden fencing. The unsightly concrete wall has been removed, and all visitors will now enter the venue with a view of the Melbourne Hairpin and clear access to spectator areas.
“Even more importantly, queues should be drastically reduced. A total of three ticket booths and six pay lanes will be installed to make way for the single booth, with a dedicated lane for advance ticket holders, meaning there will be much easier access for all spectators,” said a spokesman.
“The new entry also now means that vehicles and spectators will enter the venue through separate access points.”
