Bennetts British Superbike veteran James Ellison will return to the Rich Energy OMG team this season as brand ambassador and rider coach.

Ellison, who rode for OMG for the last three rounds of the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike Championship, will work closely with the team in 2020 to share his world-class expertise at the top level of motorcycle racing with OMG’s riders and supported teams.

Working alongside James, our riders will benefit from his advice and knowledge of British Superbike circuits to find vital tenths which will make the difference on track.

“I’m really excited to be given the opportunity to stay involved with the team, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them last year especially working alongside Ray Stringer as we are both very analytical when it comes to studying data,” said Ellison.

“Hopefully with my experience and knowledge I can help get those last few vital tenths out of both bike and rider. I can’t wait for the season to start, it’s a shame we aren’t already talking about a great Silverstone test, but at the moment it’s important that everyone is staying safe and keeping healthy.”
