MotoGP exile Alvaro Bautista has made his WorldSBK debut with the Aruba Ducati team at Jerez this morning.

The Spaniard waited for the track to dry sufficiently before venturing out on an engine he is vaguely familiar with but on brand new tyres and steel brakes for the first time in years.
