Honda Racing’s BSB star Xavi Fores will be back in the WorldSBK paddock this week as he stands in for the injured Leon Camier at the Misano test.

Camier damaged his left shoulder at Imola after colliding with Sandro Cortese’s prone Yamaha R1 and is unfit to ride in Italy, so Fores has been wheeled in on evaluation duties.

It is believed the Moriwaki Honda team have some significant upgrades at this test, and this theory is borne out by the attendance of HRC’s All-Japan Superbike rider Yuki Takahashi who will also ride alongside Moriwaki Honda’s Ryuichi Kiyonari.
