Francis swaps to Superstock with Stauff Kawasaki

Former BSB rider Joe Francis will contest the Pirelli National Superstock Championship for 2022 with Stauff Fluid Power Kawasaki.

The GR Motosport-run team is aiming to challenge for the title with Francis aboard the Ninja ZX-10RR machine after a successful maiden season for the outfit in 2021.

The Chester rider, who was seen in action with FHO Racing during the past year, has previous experience with the GR Motosport squad having successfully competed with together in 2013 and secured the British Motostar title. The partnership will therefore be looking to replicate its winning form this year as he switches from the British Superbike to Superstock class.

‘My goal is to challenge for the championship title, and I am really motivated for the season ahead.

“It is nice to be back with Brent and the crew, working with the same team members I had back in 2013 when we won a championship together, and now we want to make it two. I am confident that with the programme and team around me that we can make it happen. I can’t wait to get going in a new class and I am thankful to Brent and all of my sponsors who have put me in this position for the 2022 season.”
