Graeme Irwin joins 2020 British Superbike grid

As if two Irwins on the 2020 Bennetts British Superbike grid weren't enough, Graeme Irwin has made it three after signing for Aaron Zanotti's Team 64 Motorsport.

The Carrickfergus ride delivered a distinguished career in motocross before an injury saw him switch disciplines to line up in the Superstock class on tarmac for the first time in 2019, claiming a best result of a top ten finish at Cadwell Park.

Irwin make his debut at the end of the month at the first official test at Monteblanco in Spain, before moving on to Jerez.

"I’m incredibly excited to be riding the Team 64 Kawasaki in the British Superbike Championship. One of my aims was to work with a crew chief who has also raced and Aaron fits the bill perfectly," said Irwin.

“Of course I’ll be up against my brothers. We’re a very close family and respect one another but when the lights go out we all have a job to do.”
