Isle of Man TT star James Hiller is progressing his attack on the 2023 Dakar Rally but has elected to do it in the most difficult way possible.

Hillier will run in the Motul-backed 'Malle Moto' class which means he basically out on his own for two weeks.

"It means I have to maintain the bike, no support truck, no nice warm bed, we are supplied tents and the tool kit is transported to each stage end," said Hillier.
 
"So it’s ‘eat, sleep, race repeat’ for two weeks of hardcore rally racing."
