Aruba Ducati’s Scott Redding was almost forced to abandon his works Panigale V4R at Jerez this morning after a trip into the gravel saw it get stuck.
Redding went off-track at turn five and the bike sunk up to its wheel spindles. After initially marching off, the reigning British Superbike Champion enlisted the help of a marshal to unstick it.
The Gloucestershire rider is currently sixth on the test timesheet, a second slower than Jonathan Rea.
