Jones Dorling reveal three-rider Superstock 1000 line-up

Jones Dorling Racing has announced a three-strong rider line-up in the 2021 Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship of Luke Hedger, Brent Harran and returning rider Ashley Beech to campaign the team’s Suzuki GSXR 1000s.

Beech returns to the team after a long association, spanning five seasons and is joined by Hedger, who has had several successful seasons in the class aboard a Kawasaki and Aprilia as he looks ahead to his debut on a Suzuki. South African Harran meanwhile joins the team from the Junior Superstock class.

Hedger said: “I am mega happy to be joining Jones Dorling Racing for 2021. I can’t thank Chris and Tom enough for giving me this opportunity I already feel part of the team and the guys are awesome!  We’ve been in discussion for a while now and I can’t wait to get started and get testing underway. I would also like to thank all my sponsors people who have supported me, the biggest thanks going out to my dad for also giving me these opportunities – I can’t thank him enough!”

Harran said: “I'm absolutely delighted to have signed a deal with JDR and to be racing for them in 2021. 2020 was a tough year for me, having to sit out the season, but I am now fully recovered and looking forward to getting working with everyone at JDR. Being my first year in the Superstock 1000 class, I am excited for the task that lays ahead of me - I'm definitely up for the challenge and excited to get racing! A massive thank you from my side has to go out to Optimum Bikes and Everquip Garage Equipment for standing by my side through all the injuries and once again giving me the opportunity to make the dream a reality.”

Beech said: “I would like to thank  Chris, Tom and the team for giving me an opportunity to ride a full season, welcoming me back into JDR after riding the last two rounds of 2020. I would like to thank all my sponsors for sticking with me throughout these testing times. I can’t wait for testing to start to let me go and ride the bike.”
