Lloyd and Jones BMW expand into GP2 and Talent Cup

Lloyd and Jones PR Racing team have announced that they will expand ahead of the 2020 Bennetts British Superbike Championship season, supporting Dan Jones in the British GP2 series and Sully Mounsey in the British Talent Cup alongside their Superbike effort with Joe Francis.

Jones moves into the GP2 class after finishing fourth overall in the HEL Performance British Motostar Moto3 Championship last season, claiming three wins and a further four podium finishes.

Meanwhile 2020 will mark Mounsey’s debut in the Bennetts BSB paddock, progressing from the Cool FAB-Racing British Mini Bike Championship ahead of the new season.

“I’d like to start off with a big thank you to Lloyd & Jones PR Racing for this fantastic opportunity, and I am really pleased to be working with such a high calibre team and the opportunities this will bring,” said Jones.

“This is a massive step up for me, but I’m going to relish every moment, do my best and enjoy the experience. I will be looking for improvements as the season goes on, setting small goals to reach along the way. This is a really exciting year in what is shaping up to be a great championship.”

Mounsey added: “I would like to thank my sponsors and the team for getting me here. Having come from the Cool FAB-Racing British Mini Bike Championship and competed in the Mini Moto Testing and World Championship, I am use to the pressure of racing, but this is a completely different arena.

“I am really looking forward to the next stage of my racing career and I can’t wait to get to know my team and learn the tracks.”
