British Superbike Champion Tarran Mackenzie starts the new year with another win under his belt as the Yamaha man was voted ‘Best British Rider’ of 2021 by Bikesportnews readers.

Mackenzie beat out stiff competition from six-time WorldSBK champion Jonathan Rea, with just 10 votes splitting the pair at the top of the standings.

Ducati’s Tommy Bridewell and Scott Redding came in as third and fourth in the public vote, with WorldSSP300 star Tom Booth-Amos taking fifth after an impressive runners-up season in the lightweight class before his promotion for the coming year.
