Puccetti Kawasaki’s Kenan Sofuoglu has confirmed this afternoon he will not contest the final two WorldSSP rounds after fracturing his hip in three places yesterday.

Sofuoglu was flown back to Turkey by private jet from Magny-Cours yesterday and underwent an examination. Doctors concluded he needs 12 weeks rest, so will miss Jerez and Qatar which gives Lucas Mathias a 25-point lead in the championship over Sheridan Morais.
