Marquez asks Honda for more front-end stability in 2020

Reigning MotoGP king Marc Marquez has requested two major improvements from Honda in 2020 - corner entry and corner exit.

The multiple world champion, who demolished all before him this year, needs to stop over-stressing the front tyre and also believes he needs more exit grip as he is currently losing to the Yamahas.

“We are struggling a lot to get rear grip on the exit of the corners. There, Yamaha really has extra grip, at the moment in that area it’s the best bike, especially with the new tyres; it is incredible," said Marquez.

“This is one thing. Then the last part of braking is where we are still pushing the front tyre too much and for that reason we see a lot of saves and is there where we did one step this year.

“But we need to try to force the front tyre less and try to have more grip on the exit of the corner.”
