Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez was back in action on Thursday after being cleared by his Doctors to ride again.
The eight-time World Champion underwent a medical examination with Dr. Sánchez Dalmau last Monday to analyse the situation of his diplopia with the ophthalmologist confirming a clear improvement in Marquez’ vision as his recovery continued to develop.
Approved to ride, the Repsol star lost no time in returning to training after a three-month absence, with the Spaniard seen at the Ponts Circuit (Lleida) on Thursday. His team described the sessions as “more than optimistic”.
Marquez will now join MotoGP teammate Pol Espargaro, younger brother Alex and fellow HRC rider Takaaki Nakagami for Honda’s 2022 presentation on Friday morning.
