McGlinchey v McWilliams in Sunflower Supertwin clash

Last year’s Supertwin race at the Sunflower provided one of the best ever races around the Bishopscourt race circuit, Glenn Irwin was the winner on board the BE Racing Kawasaki.

Irwin won’t be competing this year, however, the class has all the ingredients to be equally as exciting as in 2018.

Lap record holder, the exciting Eunan McGlinchy will line up for the second time on board the McAdoo racing Kawasaki, joining him will be veteran and former MotoGP rider Jeremy McWilliams on board the KMR Kawasaki.

Despite his age, McWilliams remains as hungry for victory as ever. And the veterans don’t stop there as bringing the Mark Cloverdale Paton, will be another in the shape of Ian Lougher.

Dominic Herbertson will be hoping for better luck this year when he returns to the Sunflower, where he will ride the RJ Woolsley ER6 Kawasaki whilst Manx Grand prix Newcomers winner, Andy Jackson will be on board Billy McKinstry’s machine.

Regning USBK Supertwin Champion, the 2019 Davy Wood Scholarship recipient, Gary McCoy, is on the Mad Bros Kawasaki along with his neighbour, Kevin Lavery (KMR Kawasaki) will both hoping to be in the mix with the visiting riders. Former quad champion, Ryan Gibson will be on board a third machine from Ryan Farquhar’s KMR stable.
