Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness will champion a Be Wiser Ducati at this year's Macau GP and will have Martin Jessopp as a team-mate.

The Penrith-based squad are the reigning champions after Glenn Irwin took victory last year but they say the Carrickfergus rider does not want to return to the Portugese colony, so McGuinness and Jessopp - who have multiple podium finishes between them - have been wheeled in.

Lancastrian McGuinness sampled victory for Paul Bird’s team back in 2001 and has recently returned from injury to take a win at the Classic TT so is looking forward to competing again at Macau.

Jessopp took his debut win at this year’s North West 200 as well as posting a string of top seven results at the 2018 Isle of Man TT Races.
