Ducati test rider Michele Pirro has a MotoGP Desmosedici at Misano that is dripping with new front aero goodies.
Previously, the Bologna factory has experimented with various types of wheel aero, even a cycling-style disc wheel, but Pirro now has a smaller bottom fairing attached to the brake caliper and a fork fairing too.
The eighth-size part will channel air across the disc but also move it on to the swingarm-mounted scoop which itself has another one-third size disc fairing behind it.
The fork fairing channels air away from the two carbon tubes but it is not clear from the image that Pirro posted on Instagram whether the flow is directed into the radiator on to the main fairing and wings.
