Portugal's Miguel Oliveira has been ruled out of the Misano MotoGP test after completing just two laps on his Red Bull KTM Tech3 RC16.
The rookie was nerfed off by factory team-mate Johann Zarco in the Silverstone race and resulting shoulder injuries are making it difficult to ride in Italy.
"Following his crash at the British GP Miguel decided together with his crew to skip the Misano Test after testing his condition in two laps in order to recover 100 per cent for the upcoming San Marino GP," said a team statement.
"During his unfortunate fall, the Portuguese MotoGP rookie suffered a damage to a tendon in his right shoulder, which causes him a lot of pain and a loss of power on the brakes."
