Pata Yamaha's Alex Lowes believes he made some setup steps forward even though track time at the Misano WorldSBK test was limited.

The former BSB champion got in a couple of afternoons alongside team-mate Michael van der Mark and the other two R1-campaigning teams and says now the work begins with data analysis.

"We had plenty to test but limited track time due to the weather. This afternoon was a bit crammed and we couldn't do long runs because we literally didn't have the time," said Lowes.

"We made some steps forward with the bike and now we can go through the data with the guys and pick out a few key points to work on to go forward. I'm quite happy with how it went and looking forward to Jerez."
